Unicorn and rainbow reward chart

This rainbow reward chart turns the week into a rainbow painted one stripe a day. Each day your child fills in another color, and the reward waits at the end like a pot of gold.

The chart

The printable is a one-page PDF with 5 goal rows, 7 days, and a sticker box for each day. There is a reward line at the bottom and a blank name line at the top. The chart comes in letter and A4, in a color version and an ink saving black outline version.

The art is our own, so there are no licensed charactres. That means it works for any unicorn and rainbow fan, and you can print it tonight. Each reward box fits a 1.5 inch round sticker or a 1/2 inch star sticker. Print at 100 percent, not fit to page, so the boxes stay the right size.

If you want the reasoning behind the layout, start with Reward chart ideas: 30 goals and rewards by age.

Goals that fit the theme

Pick 3 to 5 goals so the chart stays simple. Write them in the theme's words, and your child will feel like part of a story. Here are six goal ideas for ages 3 to 7.

  • Rescue the rainbow by making your bed
  • Find the unicorn's magic by brushing your teeth
  • Cross the rainbow bridge by putting on shoes
  • Feed the unicorn by eating dinner
  • Catch the rainbow by picking up toys
  • Wake the unicorn by getting dressed

Rewards in the same theme

Rewards don't need to come from a store. Use things you already have, and and keep the theme going. Here are six ideas that fit a unicorn and rainbow world.

For more ideas, see our reward ideas.

  • A story about a unicorn finding a rainbow
  • A game of hide and seek with a stuffed unicorn
  • A day to wear a cape and a crown
  • Choose the theme song for the day
  • A snack cut into a star or a cloud shape
  • A rainbow scavenger hunt around the house

Matching name stickers

The sign-up builder prints your child's name on a sticker sheet, a star chart, and a chore chart, all in this theme. It works right in the browser, and you can print it at home. The sticker sheet uses the same rainbow and unicorn art, so the whole set matches.

We also have other themed charts, like space, dinosaur, princess, rescue pups, and block world. For sticker paper and boards, check our sticker page.

Every page hands out its own chart. All reward and star charts.

Questions parents ask

Is the unicorn and rainbow reward chart free?

Yes, the printable chart is free. You can download the PDF and print it tonight. The sign-up builder that adds your child's name is also free. We do link to Amazon for sticker paper and boards, and we earn a commission if you buy, but the charts themselves cost nothing.

What age is this chart for?

This chart is made for kids aged 3 to 10. The theme works best for ages 3 to 7, but older kids can still enjoy it if they like unicorns and rainbows. The goal ideas are simple enough for a 3 year old, and the reward line works for any age.

Can I get the stickers with my child's name in the same theme?

Yes. Sign up with your email, and the builder will make a sticker sheet with your child's name in the unicorn and rainbow theme. It also makes a star chart and a chore chart. You print them all at home, and the stickers fit the boxes on this chart.

How many goals should I put on a themed chart?

Start with 3 to 5 goals. Too many goals can feel overwhelming, and the chart may fizzle. Pick the behaviors that matter most this week, like brushing teeth or picking up toys. You can change goals each week, and the chart stays fresh.
